Terms of Use

Last updated: 23 September 2026

This revision: replaced the page with the reviewed text the business supplied on 8 September 2026, and renamed it from Terms of Service to match that document. The page previously described a live marketplace with accounts, bookings and payments; section 2 now states that none of those are live and that such references describe intended features. It also adds acceptable use, intellectual property, a business-user liability cap and indemnity, and Maltese governing law.

1. About these Terms

These Terms govern access to and use of the ServX website, pre-launch information, waiting lists, contact channels and other functionality expressly made available on dev.servx.mt or servx.mt (the “Website”). ServX is currently a pre-launch project operated in Malta by DevTrix/ServX trading identity (“ServX”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By using the Website you agree to these Terms to the extent a binding agreement is permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the Website. Nothing in these Terms removes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.

2. Pre-launch status — no live marketplace yet

The Website is currently a marketing and information website. Unless a page expressly states otherwise, ServX does not currently provide a live marketplace, user account, booking, payment, provider-payout, review or in-platform messaging service. References to “bookings”, “secure payments”, “verified providers”, “instant matching”, earnings, subscriptions, app features, dashboards, reviews or similar functionality describe intended, proposed, illustrative or future functionality and do not constitute a representation that the feature is currently available.

Screens, prices, service ranges, feature lists, launch dates, earning examples and other pre-launch materials may change, be delayed or not launch at all. They are not an offer, guarantee, warranty or promise of availability, income, savings, business volume, response time, service quality or commercial result. You should not incur cost or make a decision in reliance on a proposed feature or forecast unless ServX has confirmed it to you in a separate written agreement.

3. Waiting lists, provider interest and enquiries

Joining a waiting list, completing a “Become a Provider” form, contacting ServX or expressing interest does not create employment, agency, partnership, franchise, exclusivity, provider status, customer status or any entitlement to jobs, leads, listing, verification, acceptance, launch access or payment. We may accept, decline, pause or close pre-launch applications and waiting lists at our discretion, subject to applicable law and without creating an obligation to launch the relevant service.

You must provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and must not impersonate another person, misrepresent qualifications, rights or licences, or submit unlawful, misleading, infringing or harmful content.

4. Future provider profiles and user enquiries

ServX is intended to enable service providers to showcase services and to enable users to discover providers and submit or showcase service enquiries. When those features are launched, the provider and the service seeker will ordinarily be responsible for deciding whether to contract with one another and for the underlying service, unless future product-specific terms expressly say otherwise.

ServX does not provide the underlying cleaning, repair, care, professional or other third-party services merely by listing or introducing a provider. Any verification, screening, badge, rating or review system we introduce will be limited to the checks expressly described at that time and must not be treated as a guarantee of identity, competence, licensing, suitability, safety, solvency, insurance, quality or outcome. Users remain responsible for making their own checks before engaging a provider.

5. Future paid subscriptions

ServX may offer monthly or other paid subscription plans for access to specific website or app tools. No subscription fee is due merely from viewing the current pre-launch Website or joining a waiting list unless a checkout page expressly states otherwise. Before any paid subscription is concluded, the applicable price, taxes, billing frequency, included tools, renewal rules, cancellation method and any minimum term will be displayed or otherwise provided to the subscriber together with any additional terms required by law.

Future plans, introductory prices and feature bundles shown before launch are indicative and may be changed or withdrawn before purchase. A subscription contract will arise only through the purchase/acceptance mechanism specified at launch, not from pre-launch marketing material.

6. No employment or agency

Nothing on the Website appoints ServX as an employer, agent, representative or partner of a prospective service provider, and nothing makes a provider an employee, worker, agent or representative of ServX. Future providers are expected to operate independently and remain responsible for their own legal, tax, licensing, insurance, professional and regulatory obligations, subject to the final marketplace terms applicable when the service launches.

7. Website information and estimated pricing

Content on the Website is provided for general information and pre-launch marketing. Service-price ranges, estimated costs, response times, provider earnings and similar figures are illustrative only. Actual prices and availability may vary by provider, location, scope, timing, taxes, materials, urgency and other factors. Nothing on the Website is professional advice or a binding quotation unless expressly identified as such by the party authorised to give it.

8. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Website. In particular, you must not:

  • use the Website unlawfully, fraudulently or to facilitate unlawful services;
  • introduce malware, probe or circumvent security, disrupt availability, overload the Website or attempt unauthorised access;
  • scrape, harvest, copy, index or extract Website content, provider data or contact information at scale without our written permission, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • use bots or automated systems in a manner that materially burdens the Website or bypasses access controls;
  • upload or transmit content that is defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, deceptive, infringing, invasive of privacy or otherwise unlawful; or
  • falsely imply endorsement by, affiliation with, or verification from ServX.

9. Intellectual property

The Website, ServX name and branding, software, layouts, graphics, text and other materials are owned by or licensed to ServX and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Website for lawful personal or internal business evaluation. No other rights are granted. Third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners.

10. Third-party links and services

The Website may link to or rely on third-party websites, analytics, communications, AI, hosting or other services. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or terms. A link or integration does not by itself mean that ServX endorses or guarantees the third party.

11. Availability, changes and suspension

We may modify, test, suspend, restrict or discontinue any pre-launch Website feature, content, waiting list or proposed service at any time. We do not guarantee that the Website will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure or compatible with every device. We may block or restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, misuse prevention, maintenance, legal compliance or protection of our rights or users.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website and pre-launch content are provided “as is” and “as available”. We exclude warranties, representations and conditions not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability or accuracy, to the extent those exclusions are legally permitted. Nothing in this section excludes a warranty or right that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

13. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation and any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law. Subject to that, ServX is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, anticipated savings, goodwill or data arising from use of or reliance on the pre-launch Website, where such exclusion is permitted by law.

For users acting in the course of a business, ServX’s aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the current pre-launch Website will, to the fullest extent permitted by law, not exceed the greater of EUR 100 and the amount that business user actually paid ServX for the relevant Website service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to liability. This business-user cap does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Business-user indemnity

If you use the Website as a business or prospective provider, you will be responsible for losses, claims and reasonable costs incurred by ServX to the extent they arise directly from your unlawful content, infringement of third-party rights, fraudulent or materially misleading submission, or material breach of these Terms, except to the extent the loss was caused by ServX or cannot lawfully be allocated to you.

15. Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled. Our Cookie Policy and Cookie Settings explain how optional analytics and marketing technologies are controlled. Those documents form part of the Website’s legal information and should be read together with these Terms.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the pre-launch Website changes. The version displayed on the Website applies from its stated effective date. If a future paid or account-based service is launched, additional or replacement terms may apply and will be presented before the relevant contract or material change takes effect, as required by law.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and non-contractual matters arising from the Website are governed by the laws of Malta, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to consumers under the law of their country of residence. The courts of Malta will have jurisdiction for disputes with business users. Consumers retain any mandatory right to bring proceedings in another competent court or use an applicable statutory dispute-resolution mechanism.

18. General

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer operation of the Website or these Terms to a successor operator as part of a genuine incorporation, reorganisation or transfer, subject to applicable law and any required notice.
